I don’t know what this plant is, and PlantNet doesn’t either, so I don’t feel so bad. I suspect one of the biologists who follow Cedar Creek Nature Notes will. I love the pink and green. I think it is so beautiful.
It was a cool morning, and I found this dragonfly on the path. It seemed to be fine and was just waiting for the day to warm up a little.
We went out “sandbarring” below Cedar Bluffs last week. “Sandbarring” is a word I made up, referring to the practice of walking on a sandbar to observe and contemplate the geology, biology, and archaeology of the sandbar.
