Mya Matteo Alexice is a Cave Canem fellow studying Black romantic life. He is also the author of The Limerence Object (2025). Matteo’s poems have appeared in publications such as Pleiades, The Rumpus, swamp pink, Black Warrior Review and elsewhere.
