Confession time: I don’t read very much fiction.
I am amazed by Jesus’ ability to listen. It’s a popular point that Jesus rarely answered a question but often responded with another question. Jesus was a listener.
Well, I didn’t write as often as I hoped this Lent, but I’m back! This is the second part of Jesus in the Wilderness, a Lenten reflection on Luke 4:1-13 (you can read the first post here).
Lent is on my mind, so I’ve been meditating on Luke’s account of Jesus’ temptations in the wilderness (Luke 4:1-13). I’ll share four short reflections during Lent about this passage.
