Reflections

Sticking with my motif of painting birds, adding in the concept of reflection in water is a challenge for me as a painter. I enjoy painting water with vibrant colors, but greatly admire art that uses water to reflect what is on land.

Painting Birds

I enjoy painting birds of all types. This is a painting (oil or canvas) of a Hawk that I glimpsed on a limb while walking my dog a few weeks back. I love the majesty and calm on display that I suppose comes from being an apex predator.
