Before the gestalt resolves, too many things remain informationally alive. I cannot simply discard the irrelevant because relevance itself has not settled. My support need begins before filtering can begin.
I am autistic, Level 2 Support Needs—requiring substantial support. Yet much of my life reads from outside as competence. I begin with the apparent contradiction: what if we have been looking for my support in the wrong place?

Three questions now sit beside me whenever I encounter research: Who are you? What is your relationship to us? What changes for us because this knowledge exists? The researcher is part of the field.
