I'm a geomicrobiologist and mycophile Research Scientist in the Carin lab. My work focuses on microbial ecology of prokaryotes and fungi in a range of environments, including the mouse gut, anaerobic marine habitats, and desert soils.
I am a microbiologist interested in microbial ecology and evolution. I enjoy exploring bacterial community assemblages of different environments and my research has led me to investigate various marine and terrestrial, host-associated systems.
