そんな気持ちで目が覚めて、
重たい足取りで会社へ向かう。
休みが楽しかった分だけ、
現実に戻るのがつらく感じていました。
でも今振り返ると、
仕事が嫌だったというより、
「楽しみが仕事の休みしかなかった。」
それが大きかったのかもしれません。
平日は、
ただ毎日をこなすだけ。
週末を待って、
また月曜日が来る。
その繰り返しでし...
楽しみな予定がひとつあるだけで、日常は少し明るくなる

昨日は、
ずっと楽しみにしていた家族のイベントでした。

妹家族、

孫は7人。
みんなが集まって、
お店を貸し切って食事をしました。
久しぶりに全員がそろい、
子どもたちの笑い声が響いて、
両親も本当に嬉しそうでした。
何より印象に残ったのは、
食事の時間だけではありません。
数日前から、
「もうすぐだね。」
「楽しみだね。」
そんな話を何度もしていた両親の姿です。

本当にたくさんの人を見てきました。
中でも、
ブログの副業を10年以上続けてきた中で、
とても興味深い現象に、
何度も出会ってきたんです。
「頑張ります。」
「絶対にやり遂げます。」
そう勢いよく宣言した人ほど、
いつの間にか、
いなくなってしまう。
一方で、
「私にできるかしら。」
と自信なさそうに始...
「続けよう」と思うほど、続かなかった理由。

最近改めて気づいたことを書いてみようと思います。

昔の私は、
何かを始めるたびに、
「今年こそ。」
「今度こそ。」
「絶対に続けよう。」
そう自分に言い聞かせていました。
でも、
不思議なくらい、
そう思えば思うほど続きませんでした。
三日坊主で終わることもあれば、
気づけば元の生活に戻っていることもありました。
そのたびに、
「私って意志が弱いな。」
そう思っていたんです。
でも、...
続けられない人は、意志が弱いわけじゃなかった。
