A few years ago, just after I committed to writing the book idea I’d been tinkering with, I decided I wanted to go to a cabin in nature by myself for a couple nights to “focus on writing.”
My recently published book, A Season for Everything, involves lots of what I like to call “dissecting mundanity.” One such thing is the simple shift of an hour—a hallmark of mid autumn—one that happened, this year, on November 3.
