I wrote over 100 poems instead of falling apart. This is where I share them—raw, emotional, sometimes uncomfortable. It’s also where I’m building something real and sustainable through writing. If it speaks to you, stay.

I want to kiss the billowing mist
weighing down these bridges.
Heavy water smacks the highway,
sky weeping like nobody’s business.
My heart floods—
covering roads into rivers.
Then
it lets up
with a gentle pat.
Allowing green...
Spring doesn’t ask permission.
It takes the body back.
It arrives in pieces—
in small awakenings,
in the way something touches you before you have language for it.
I’ve been thinking about how early that begins.
How the body learn...
There are moments in love that don’t feel modern.
They don’t belong to text messages or shared calendars or even language.
They feel older than that—
like something discovered rather than created.
Like fire.
First Red Hearth...
Sometimes love looks solid from the outside.
Inside it is crystalline—beautiful, sharp, and fragile.
Slick of love
sliding on the ridges
of a jagged geode—
yet catching light,
cutting like deceitful stone
against the heart...
Sometimes a poem arrives like a small disturbance—
a strange image, a memory, something psychological that won’t quite settle.
You follow it, not knowing exactly what it means yet.
This poem began with that feeling.
