2023年8月，斯坦福高级研究员许成钢教授在不明白播客《通缩下的中国会走苏联的老路吗》那期节目中判断中国已经陷入流动性陷阱。三年后，他认为最新的经济数据印证了当时的判断和预测：中国当时已出现了通货紧缩，并且陷入了“流动性陷阱”。
但与此同时，在居民不愿消费、企业不愿借贷和投资的情况下，中国政府仍在不断加码对AI和半导体的投入。
