OK. Since I last reported in on my attempt to map out, and complete, Caverns Of The Snow Witch I have had three more play sessions. Each of them ended in swift death and a bare minimum of the map being revealed.
One of the most important aspects of any TTRPG is the morale mechanic. I’m always very suspicious of any game that doesn’t give people (and monsters) the opportunity to surrender or flee. Honestly ... who in their right mind actually fights...
Last session we lost (another) character … drowned in a mysterious dungeon-room swamp. We now have only one original character left as the party opens a door, behind which they could hear a strange humming sound.
