今年的虐貓網上組織事件，令不少港人感到震驚。《獨媒》聯絡了與關注事件的貓義工，收到不少資料，包括相關虐貓片段。記者撰寫報導時無奈點入觀看，結果整晚吃不下飯。事發後虐貓組織仍然運作，或許一如貓義工所言，這不是個別事件，而是我們需要正視的社會現象。

採訪手記 ︳聽證會「逐字謄本」
宏福苑聽證會不設網上直播，媒體幾乎成為了唯一的資訊出口。首數天聆訊證據之多，記者開工前幾乎要耍八段錦熱身，避免劇烈打字導致抽筋。每晚不定時發放的錄音謄本，本來可以「補白」一些報道上cover不到的內容，不過在撰寫一篇關於獨立委員會委員歐陽伯權是否有身份衝突的報導時，我們意外發現，記者一直以為的「逐字謄寫」，其實只是「美麗誤會」——在我們希望翻查的部分，謄本中為一遍「空白」。
