6,409 there. Pitch damp.

Quite amazing.

In the opening minutes Utd had two good chances; Campbell was put through the middle but shot weakly at Irwin and shortly afterwards his header from Woody’s corner grazed the outside of the post....

First half quite stunning. After 2 minutes Calvert made a superb curving pass from halfway on left to byeline on right - Woody chased with everyone expecting a goalkick and crossed to Edwards’ head.
