席替え。
生徒にとっては一大イベントですが、
教師にとっては、正直なところ「手間」でしかありませんでした。
以前の私は、紙にあみだくじを手書きで作り、
クラス全員の名前が漏れていないかを一人ひとり確認していました。
40人近くの名前を、ひとつも漏らさないように指でなぞりながら確認する。
地味ですが、これが意外と神経を使います。
席替えが終わったら終わりではありません。
新しい座席表をパソコンで作り直して、印刷する作業も待っています。

「なんで校則があるの？」
生徒にこう聞かれたこと、ありませんか。
高校教師をしていると、一度は飛んでくる質問です。
親として、子どもから聞かれることもあるかもしれません。
私はまずこう答えます。
どんな集団にも決まりはあるよね。
会社にも、スポーツチームにも、家庭にも。
学校だって例外ではないよ、と。
そして、みんながその決まりを守ることで、
みんなが学校生活を過ごしやすくなっているのであれば、
校則は必要なものだと言えます。

AIに自分の定期考査を「再現」させてみた話
先日、定期考査の問題作成をAIにお願いしました。
結論から言うと、ほぼそのまま使えるレベルの考査が出来上がりました。
「AIが試験を作る」と聞くと、なんとなく違和感を覚える方もいるかもしれません。
私もそうでした。
でも、実際に出来上がったものを見て最初に思ったのは、「違和感がない」ということでした。
