タブレットが配られて、なぜか仕事が増えた話
教員の働き方改革という言葉が叫ばれるようになってから、ずいぶんと時間が経ちました。
その具体的な取り組みの一つとして、数年前に全国の学校現場へ一斉に導入されたのが、教員一人一台の端末、いわゆるタブレットやノートパソコンです。
職員室に真新しい端末がずらりと並んだ日のことを、今でもよく覚えています。
「これで重たい書類の山から解放されるかもしれない」
「採点や連絡業務がもっとスムーズになって、早く帰れるようになるかもしれない」
そんな淡い期待を抱いた先生も多かったので...

県立高校の部活動で、顧問をしていた先生2人が懲戒処分を受けました。
宿泊地から約16キロ離れた練習試合会場まで、生徒22人を自家用車に乗せて送迎したことが理由です。
33歳の先生は、19人の生徒を運ぶために4往復半。
25歳の先生も、3人の生徒を乗せて移動したそうです。
理由はとてもシンプルで、「他に移動手段がなかったから」でした。
