Several months ago, during my Bible reading, I came across these verses in Jeremiah and decided to take them on my morning walk to pray for my grandchildren.
The old gospel song Into My Heart is a beautiful prayer for salvation. The lyrics call for Jesus to come into our hearts to save us from “life’s dreary way,” lift our “burden of sin,” and “take all our guilt away” [1].
In 2025, I discovered a poem on Christ’s resurrection that I had written 50 years ago but had never published. So I posted it here with my narration. Now I am publishing it again, this time set to music [1].
The presence of suffering in our lives can challenge our faith. If we have given ourselves to Christ, trusting in Him for our salvation, and striving to serve Him, why does He allow us to suffer?
