I've been 20 days in cancer surgery post op. I was getting well enough to write a little bit a few days ago. And I'm gaining the strength needed to support my independence goals.
My Cancer Surgery is Scheduled
I finally got word, I go into the U of A hospital early in the morning of August 8th for my total laryngectomy surgery. I have to check in at 530 am and can expect to be on the operating table for around 16 hours.

It has been a while since I wrote anything. I have been preoccupied with dealing with the heat and trying to keep my body strong and ready for surgery.
