I love writing emails.
In my emails, I promote my own products or affiliate products. I challenge myself to add stories to my emails. At the moment, that means three stories per week.
And then two days with lessons or insight...
“You need to raise the stakes.”
Okay.
Let them argue.
That was honestly my first thought when I learned that stories needed conflict.
If the scene was flat, make them fight.
If that didn’t work, add danger.
A kidnapping.
A hurricane....
Do what you want.
Write in closer third person, or first person, present tense.
Plot everything out beforehand, write from the middle or discover the story as you write.
All that is allowed.
