Municipal manager who first began as Town Manager in Sykesville, MD in 1995. Subsequently served as Borough Manager in Carlisle, PA, Township Manager in Upper Moreland Township, PA and now serve as Town Manager in South Boston, VA.
Mandie has worked in local government for over 25 years. She also teaches graduate courses in public administration. She holds a BA in political science and both master’s and doctoral degrees in public administration.
I am an academic. My research interests are in all things public service. Most recently, I have conducted a long-term ethnography with the police in the UK.
Thomas Bryer is Pegasus Professor in the School of Public Administration at the University of Central Florida and a professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania.
