I have most probably just attended my last birth as doula: after 15 years and many births, it feels right to focus on other antenatal and postnatal work, which I am excited about.
The thing about baby-loss is that some people think we get over it, that we recover. Every parent is different but we don’t get over it, we just learn to live with our loss and grief in the best way possible.
Well here we are almost in the middle of October and I’m only just coming up for air - to reflect on the last few weeks and to start to refocus on work again.
