見た目では気づけません。白い背景に置くかぎり、完璧に抜けて見えます。ところが黒い背景に載せると、絵のむこうがうっすら透けます。
原因はアルファ値
完全な不透明は 255 です。ところが出てきた画像は、いちばん濃いところでも 254 。キャラクターの本体が 192 から 253 あたりに散らばっていました。だいたい 9 割の不透明。 1 割ぶん、向こうが透けています。

中古車屋の経営ゲームを作っています。仕入れて、展示して、売る。そこに多角経営がぶらさがる、シムシティの小さい版だと思ってください。
そのゲームで、値下げの下限を、仕入れ値プラス 1 万円にしていました。赤字で売らせない。もうけの出る値段までしか下げられない。親切のつもりでした。

容量を空けるために、消せるものを洗い出していたときの話です。
dist というのは、ビルドで自動生成された配布物に付ける、よくある名前です。中身は作り直せる。だから削除してよい。ふつうはそうです。
ところが 1 つだけ、様子のおかしい dist がありました。 206 メガバイト。中をのぞいてみたら、魔法陣の画像が 437 枚。生成物ではなく、成果物でした。

今日、 20本のうち 2本が、それでした。
原因は逆相
左と右の波形が、上下さかさまになっている状態です。
ヘッドホンでは普通に聴こえます。左耳と右耳で別々に鳴っているので、何も起きません。
でもモノラルにすると、左と右が足し算されます。上下が逆なので、打ち消し合う。実測で 14dB落ちました。ほとんど消えたのと同じです。
