ぼくってカツ丼が好きなんですよ。
昔、長崎に寿屋っていう
ショッピングセンターがあって、
ご飯を食べるときは
いつもカツ丼を注文してたんです。
小学校だったか、保育園だったか、
それすらも曖昧なんだけど、
あの時食べた少し甘くて

今でも残ってて。
正直、あのカツ丼を超えるカツ丼って、
いまだにないかもなあって思うんですよ。
でも、冷静に考えると、
今の方が絶対においしいカツ丼って
いくらでもあるはずなんですよね。

理学療法士になるための
専門学校３年生のとき、
実習先の熊本の病院で言われた言葉です。
若い理学療法士さんの見学についたとき
いきなりそう言われたんですよね。
言っちゃあなんだけど、当時のぼくは
東大と早稲田、慶應くらいしか知らなくて。
京大？あ、京都の大学ですか？
くらいの認識しかなかったんですよ。
世間知らずというか、ウブというか。
「え、京大知らないの？頭いい学校だよ」
「そうなんですねー」
としか返せなかった...
