あえて脇にそれたような感想を箇条書きであれこれ書いていきます。
・いきなり”提供”のワードが登場し、小説と展開の仕方が違うのにびっくり
・全体的なトーンは小説をかなり忠実に再現しているように思った。

映画ニュースレター、今月はカズオイシグロの小説を原作とした
映画『わたしを離さないで』を観る予定です。
アンドリュー・ガーフィールド、キーラ・ナイトレイが主演、
となかなか豪華な俳優陣。
原作の小説は、ニューヨークタイムズによる「21世紀のベスト本100冊」でも
第９位にランクインするぐらい、世界的評価も高い作品。

「2025年の夏にやりたいことリスト10」でも軽く触れたとおり、
毎年夏には”いかにも夏っぽい映画”を見ることにしたので、
今年はダニー・ボイル監督の『ザ・ビーチ』(2000年公開)を観ることにしました。
『タイタニック』大ヒット後、いろんなオファーを蹴ってディカプリオ自身が選んだのがこの『The Beach』なんだそうで。
