先月、”Forza Horizon 6”が発売された。人気のオープンワールド・レースゲームのシリーズ最新作で、今回は舞台が日本だから、日本のネットでも一際話題である。
私はあまりレースゲームをやらないけれど、オープンワールドを車で走りまわるのは楽しい。だからForza Horizonも3（舞台はオーストラリア）、4（イギリス）、5（メキシコ）と遊んできた。でも残念ながら、どれも長続きしなかった。ありとあらゆることが騒々しくて、嫌になってしまうのである。

今回はいつも以上に私の感覚の話なので、異論があれば言って欲しいのだけど、と前置きはしました。
昔のインターネットでは、とにかく言いたいことを言って注目を集めるのが流行っていた。だから、例えば何かの本や映画などが流行った場合は、当然のように「あんなものはつまらない！」という逆張りを言う人達が出てきた。
ソーシャルメディアの普及以降、そういう逆張り人間は徐々に見かけなくなった。もちろん、おかしなことを言っている人は今も昔もいるが、反対するために反対するみたいな態度は流行らなく...
やじうま大人の喧嘩ウォッチ
たよりない話なのに旬の話をして申し訳ないけれど、ファンド会社のオアシスがKADOKAWAとその株主にあてたプレゼンテーションが面白かった。業績が悪いし見通しも不透明だからCEOを解任せよ、という内容。
KADOKAWA傘下のフロム・ソフトウェアや、ニコニコ動画に対する言及も興味深いのだが、個人的に一番面白かったのは、CEOのメディア露出が多すぎて、本業が疎かではないかという指摘だった。
