Where the Cameras No Longer Look
the lenses are broken
no more on the fieldso the truth
was buried under noiselike a chess table
spread across the worldit depends on which leader
is guessing the next six moveswhile a little girl...
Not in My Name, Not Ever
They call it defense.
They say they are chasing ghosts.
But I see bodies.
I see a boy who was holding bread
and a girl who used to dance
when the power came back on.I am not from Gaza.
I don’t speak for them....
