最近清大校長高為元續任後，又赴美參與夏威夷大學馬諾阿分校校長遴選，引起不少討論。
看到這則新聞，我想起的不是清大，也不是夏威夷。
我想到的是很多年前，一場我最後沒有參加的校長遴選。

那時候，我擔任興大附中校長，第一任任期即將結束。
我決定申請連任。
校長連任，不是自己想做就繼續做。要經過校內程序，也要重新接受學校成員與遴選委員的檢驗。
當時校內教師假投票，我獲得大約91%的同意票...
社團與課業平衡處理工具
擔任校長時，偶爾聽到家長擔憂孩子過度沈迷社團影響課業，請求學校可否禁止孩子參加社團。我會向他們仔細解說，社團是正式課程，不能剝奪學生受教權，但是否擔任幹部，可以透過親師生溝通來達成最適化安排。

這週在準備一場直播課，主題是介紹一種表達模式：找到一顆「濃縮了整體」的細節，讓聽的人透過它看見全貌。
這種模式為什麼有效？其中蘊含三個運作原理：
1. 大腦記得住場景，記不住清單。
你一口氣講十個重點，聽眾記住零個；你講一間鮮魚店的故事，商店街沒落的原因他自己推得出來。
2. 局部必須是「濃縮」，不是「切片」。
這是最容易誤用的地方。隨便挑一個細節不行，那個細節必須本身就包含整體的邏輯。某間店舖之所以能代表商店街，是因為它的困境...
當「說一個好故事」變成軍備競賽
本週卡最久的一個問題
這週我花最多時間跟 AI 纏鬥的，是一個給老師用的管教設計工具「代價設計教練」。卡的點不是技術，是法規。我發現 AI 引用的條文整批錯位，例如該引《 學校訂定教師輔導與管教學生辦法注意事項 》第 23 條卻引成第 22 條。為求謹慎，我一條一條對著官方版本檢查。
這件事提醒我們：AI 可以幫忙做工具，但法規的最後一關，還是要由人親自把守。
