雲南懇話会 Yunnan Colloquium
雲南懇話会 が20年間の活動を閉じるという。
1991年、梅里雪山（カワカブ）6740ｍで遭難した仲間の遺体を探し続けた小林尚礼さんの活動等から、雲南、チベット地域の自然や社会に関して語り合う場を年３,４回のペースで続けてきた会だ。会員制ではなく、その都度参加費を払うだけ。メーリングリスト登録もオープン。知人が懇話会で講演した縁もあり、私も何回か足を運んだ。

広島の本通りのアーケードを西にまっすぐ歩いていくと、元安橋に出る。元安川を右にみれば、動員学徒の慰霊塔、その向こうに原爆ドーム。橋を渡ると平和公園。渡って斜め右には、折り鶴を掲げた禎子の像。折り鶴の像から左手を見れば、平和の灯火、池、アーチ型の慰霊碑、そしてその向こうに、丹下健三が設計した平和記念資料館が見えるはずだ。
そっちには進まずに、左の川沿いの道を資料館のほうに進んでいくと、もうひとつ祈念館がある。
