暖簾をくぐったクコは、いつものように笑おうとした。
けれど、その笑顔は最後まで続かなかった。
「先生！」
ふらり、と玄関先にしゃがみ込む。
額からは汗がぽたぽたと床に落ちた。
「先生、どうした！」
生姜が駆け寄る。
「今日は訪問鍼灸が続いてね。」

こんにちは。
薬膳＆鍼灸按摩マッサージ指圧師のクコです。
サブスタックを初めてから3か月目に突入しました。
養生堂の物語も少しずつ増え、生薬達も増えました。

「ただいまー！」
勢いよく養生堂の扉が開く。
「先生！」
「みんな！」
「聞いて聞いて！」
息を切らしながら
目を輝かせた生姜が飛び込んでくる。
「俺、分かったんだ！」
「しょうきょうでも、しょうがでも、どっちかを選ばなくていいんだ！」
「食材として誰かを笑顔にする時もあるし、生薬として誰かの身体を支える時もある。」
「どっちも俺だったんだ！」
大棗がくくっと笑う。

養生堂には、穏やかな音楽とラジオが流れていた。
「今日もバク然らいぶらりのお時間です」
大棗が、目を輝かせて耳を傾ける。
「この番組、なんだか好きなんだよね」
「そういえば、朝から生姜君がいないと思ったら、今日だったのか」
桂枝が笑う。
「そうですね。ちゃんと話せますかね」
甘草がラジオの音を調整しながら笑う。
