今年的金馬經典影展做比利懷德（Billy Wilder）專題，我看了十部，但心得寫得不太滿意。好萊塢主題第三年，本來有點受夠舊時代的性別刻板印象而沒抱太大期待，但比利懷德根本是對白與小道具之神（他應該是全世界最愛用鏡子構圖的導演）。這次除卻以往看過的經典大作，選了幾部知名度較低的作品，才發現喜劇只是他的敘事方式，無論戰爭、政治、種族、媒體、道德、性別或家庭，都能在他的鏡頭語言下迸出既前瞻又雅俗共賞的精妙之作，改日好好寫完文章再來分享。

上個月總算下定決心去做健檢。還在公司上班的時候有免費的健檢福利，成為自由工作者後就要自己找醫療院所進行。我以前很期待健檢，後來才發現這種「期待」背後隱含的意義，其實是把檢查當作考試，好像如果數字不夠漂亮就代表某種「失敗」，因此這幾年總是拖拖拉拉，不想面對隨著年紀必然會增加的紅字。（如何看待「健康」是我這幾年最大的課題，到了幾乎要把童年創傷翻出來的程度。）

推特（X）最近讓Grok「主動翻譯」，不需要點選任何指令，就會直接以使用者設定的語言介面呈現。再配合演算法調整，直接把全世界的鄉民送到眼前。最近的熱門話題之一正是席捲歐洲的熱浪，法國的政府官員在涼爽的辦公室裡痛陳空調設施對環境的負面影響，卻無視可能被高溫奪走生命的國民，我才領悟「裝冷氣」這件事在地球另一端是與政治立場高度綁定的；穆斯林移民亦是難題，儘管簡化為族群對立對所有人都不公平，但當一般人的生活乃至人身安全受到威脅，很容易理解為何保守主義日漸興盛，左派的招牌都要被那些推諉...

最近身心狀態略有波動，很少外出取材，出門多半為了打工。因為通勤路長，索性帶著筆電在車上工作，倒是頗能專注，也舒緩略顯緊繃的進度。不過最近常在捷運上遇到一名情緒不太穩定的中年男子（在同一站等車），只要感覺旁人離他太近、碰到他、發出聲響，就會非常暴躁地咒罵，甚至打電話檢舉（不知道打給哪個單位就是了），最近一次還因此導致班車暫停。有點嚇人也有點惱人、不知道他是不是發生過什麼事、可以繼續坐著還是要躲開、有人要處理嗎……每次遇到「不太一樣」的人，心情大抵如此。
