気候変動をきっかけに、ジェンダー、植民地主義、人権、政治…様々なイシューに関心が広がり、その過程で一般企業→八百屋→NPOと働く場所も変えてきました。「ふたばなな」名義で不定期にzineも作成しています。
京都府生まれ、現在東京都杉並区在住。亜細亜大学国際関係学部卒業。在学中に、アメリカ・ワシントン州と、インドネシア・バンドゥンへの語学留学を経験。また、高校・大学と写真部に所属。2003年よりフリーランスフォトグラファーとして独立。人物や料理写真を得意とする。2014年からは、自費出版で写真集を作る。その土地ならではの食や文化にフォーカスしつつ、住む場所や話す言葉、時代が違っても共通する振る舞い、変わらない暮らしを撮りたいと考え、近年は「おはしのある風景」をテーマに撮影を続けている。
